Application

Here are some known issues for the application:

- Windows Virus Warning

Some virus scanners classify UBPM as malicious. This is due to the use of 7zsfx (7zip Self-Extractor).

Rename the EXE to ZIP, unpack and scan that directory. There should be no warnings for UBPM itself.

- macOS asks for Bluetooth permission even though it has already been granted and can't find devices

The reason is unknown, as workaround run ubpm from terminal.

- Problems with AppStore versions (Flathub, Snapcraft, Microsoft)

Try the versions published under releases.

- Linux AppImage integration

For better system integration (icon in the file manager, entry in the start menu) it's recommended to use tools like

• AppImageD
• GoAppImage
• AppImageLauncher

- Database encryption not available in Flatpak/Snap version

The required dependency "qsqlcipher" is bundled with the version of Qt and would break the App on the next Qt update.

- Browser and E-Mail links don't open with Flatpak/Snap version

Make sure you have XDG-Desktop-Portal installed on your Linux system.

- Files (eml and pdf) don't open with Snap version

This is a bug in Qt/Snap and can't be fixed in UBPM.
